Veterans Transition Program (VTP)
Here at MOD, we understand how difficult it is to transition from uniform to the civilian world. We have a wealth of information in the process from veteran disability compensation, Post 911 GI Bill, the Montgomery GI Bill, and more.
As former veterans in uniform, we seek to make the process easier for you. Through information provided or scheduled consultations and life coaching, we provide an invaluable source to those who need help.
VET TEC Program
The Veteran Employment Through Technology Education Courses (VET TEC) program is a 5-year pilot initiative that connects Veterans with top training providers to help them develop the skills needed to start or advance their careers in high-tech industries.
The VET TEC program operates with separate funding from the Post-9/11 GI Bill. If enrolled in the program it also provides BAH housing pay equivalent to that of E-5 similar to that of the Post-9/11GI Bill. To qualify, you must be eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill and have at least one month of remaining benefits. The program covers the cost of bootcamp-style training in high-demand tech fields. Additionally, part of the program’s requirements includes starting a career after completing your chosen course. The program also supports you in updating your resume and assists with job placement in your field.
As of April 1, 2024, the program has stopped accepting applications and new enrollments due to funding limitations. We will provide updates on the status of the program and any future funding developments. For more information, please visit VA.gov.
